I'm trying to keep my blood pressure down. NOTHING will convince the convinced, no arguments, no analysis, nothing. So I try really hard to ignore it.

I managed to have him go from "she deserves everything she got after!" to "maybe deserving is too strong a word, but I find her unsympathetic". Victory!

Like water off a duck's back- and you know why? Because people who just know Sansa from the series have no clue whatsoever who she will become. And, to be fair, she *was* an age-apprpriate twit in Game of Thrones, like most 13 year old girls are, while Arya was unnaturally bad-ass and precocious.

I remember the early incarnations of the board had a lot of Sansa bashing back before she started to grow up and get smart.

Basher was a book reader.

People only watching the show are pretty restrained in their opinion on Sansa so far.

I don't think Sansa was that much of a twit in GoT - okay, she was. I mean, I felt like she was thrusting as an obvious foil to Arya way too strongly, and without giving her her own PoV on the important things often enough. (See how little we have Sansa interacting with any of her siblings besides Arya).

... well as long as your bashing doesn't take the form of saying a young girl deserves all the grief, abuse and sexual assault she eventually got because of that one time when she was stupid when she was 11 years old and her father hadn't spent some time telling her about the fact the Lannisters hate their family and can and will hurt them?
