He means to make an all-women garnison. Oh that's priceless. We might have women swearing the oath by the end of the book at this rate XD
No words of Asha in Stannis' letter, hmmm.
Theon IV
That was... heartbreaking.
I think someone did make Martin read those fanfics; and now he's taking his revenge on all of us.
Areo I
Areo is the most boring PoV ever. I still find the Sand Snakes pretty flat as well. But Dorne. Little passed the middle point of the book and we're already catching up to the plot of FFC? Hmm.
Jon VIII
Lots of paralleling Jon with Daenarys. 'words are winds' indeed.
Theon VI
This book is filled with widows (and Targaryens). She's an interesting one. And sharp.
Asha II
Well. Things ain't turning very well for Stannis (or Asha).
Daenarys VII
Dany should have fucked Daario earlier. They have a much more fun dynamic that way than the romance clichés of earlier.

oy, fodder for the Tyrion-is-a-Targ speculators. I wonder if the renewal of people talking about that has to do with spoilers leaking on this, in fact. Pff, if we got that + Baby Aegon + Bloodraven. I mean; at this point I'd expect Jaqen H'Gar to be both Syrio Forrel AND Shiera Seastar in disguise!

Heehee, the bank of Braavos. I wonder how that'll end up biting Jon's ass eventually.
Ah, the damsel in distress arrives. Nice sleight of hand, not the one Jon expected, nor either the one the reader would expect. But I do like Alys Karstark. The SW reference made me roll my eyes.

Aww, the Wildlings from Hardhome. I guess those who ended up in Braavos might not be badly served.

The Ghost of Winterfell sure isn't the Ghost of Harrenhal, as far as murdering goes XD I wonder what Mance will say to Theon. I do hope he doesn't kill him, but, well. :/
I didn't enjoy this stretch all that much. Not a whole lot of things happened. Ships get stranded, armies get snowed in, knots remained knotty.
