Up until p.834
Tyrion XI
Well, that was entertaining. Ben's a man after Tyrion's heart indeed.
Jon XII
Hardhome sounds like quite the nightmare story.
Martin really seems to push the women on the wall thing. Hmmm.
Barristan II
"Your father keeps his secrets well, Prince Quentyn. Too well, I fear."
I KEEP SAYING THAT ABOUT DORAN.
The Prince Who Came Too Late, the old knight thought...
He might yet be The Prince Who Came Too Early.
Wait, that sounded more dirty than I intended.
Quentyn III
My poor little Quentyn. I admire the boldness, and it might get somewhere... but it's more likely it will bite you in the ass. If you're lucky. If you're not, it might roast your ass.
I'm starting to wonder if the Tattered Prince is Someone mentioned somewhere before. Pentos heh?
Griff II
We see so little of our would be Prince Aegon, and so little has personality. Anyway, some nice flashbacks of Rhaegar, a hint to the reason he might have looked for a mother to a third head of the dragon. And, wow, did Griff had a big crush on Rhaegar.
Asha III
I would so totally read a story about Braavosi bankers scouring the world in search of someone who would pay the damn debt of the kingdom. Just saying.
Victarion II
Both Victarion and Quentyn are after a dragon it seems. Wonder how they'll fare.
I'm growing too tired to pay much attention anymore... Hope I'll have time to finisht he book tomorrow.

Date: 15 July 2011 08:14 pm (UTC)and one (only one!) with Rhaegar Targaryen. Prince Rhaegar was returning from Dorne, and he and his escort had lingered here a fortnight. He was so young then, and I was younger. Boys, the both of us. At the welcoming feast, the prince had taken up his silver-stringed harp and played for them. A song of love and doom, Jon Connington recalled, and every woman in the hall was weeping when he put down the harp.
Jon and Rhaegar, sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G!! ;D and the exclamation mark is not subtle either.
I rose too high, loved too hard, dared too much. I tried to grasp a star, overreached, and fell.
SUBTLE.
King Aerys had named him Hand and given him an army, and he meant to prove himself worthy of that trust, of Rhaegar’s love.
Um. Okay. That's more overt than I expected.
“Tywin Lannister himself could have done no more,” he had insisted one night to Blackheart, during his first year of exile.
“There is where you’re wrong,” Myles Toyne had replied. “Lord Tywin would not have bothered with a search. He would have burned that town and every living creature in it. Men and boys, babes at the breast, noble knights and holy septons, pigs and whores, rats and rebels, he would have burned them all. When the fires guttered out and only ash and cinders remained, he would have sent his men in to find the bones of Robert Baratheon. Later, when Stark and Tully turned up with their host, he would have offered pardons to the both of them, and they would have accepted and turned for home with their tails between their legs.”
HOLY FUCK MY BOYFRIEND [Tywin] USED TO BE SO AWESOME :D :D :D
A bride for our bright prince. Jon Connington remembered Prince Rhaegar’s wedding all too well. Elia was never worthy of him. She was frail and sickly from the first, and childbirth only left her weaker.
Ah, the green-eyed monster.
