The first time I saw XMFC I didn't know comics!Emma, so I didn't really have an opinion, but she didn't impress me. The second time I saw XMFC, I was more familiar with Emma Frost and had also seen Mad Men. And all I could see was Betty Draper trying, and failing, to play Emma Frost. It was like some weird and bad kind of crossover. Very distracting.
