Young Avengers #1
Very good.
Uncanny X-Force #1
Excellent. Very dynamic and atmospheric set up. Characters are immediately defined (though, narration, there is so much more to Storm's adult life than a marriage *side-eyes*
FF #3
Well that certainly ups the scale in all sorts of ways. But still wonderfully whimsy and quirky and fun and sweet. I love this book.
Legacy #5
Explanations, at last! GABBY AT LAST! even if just for a very shot while And yeah; I love how this is shaping out to be.
Deadpool #4
Gore and cheap yet easy laughs R us.
Uncanny Avengers #3
Urgh.
Honestly this is just terrible, now it's not even a problem of characterisation it's all the fucking narration box. You wanna write a novel, Remender, write a fucking novel. You wanna write a comics, then use visual storytelling instead of narrating every thing. That shit is aggravating. The sad thing is it doesn't even allow you to up the pacing. Barely anything actually happens in this issue - only you wallowing for your fascination for the grotesque and the disturbing - which given the slow rate at which this is released makes it even worse.
A + X #4
So there was a first story but it, errr, made no sense, so I kind of skimmed it.
And then there was the Quire & Rogers team up and I gotta say, most of the times I don't see what everyone sees in Quire; but sometimes... sometimes he is a joy.
All New X-Men #7
Slower issue. Not bad, but not very eventful and a little bit over-easy too..I still hate Wolverine.
Fearless Defenders #1
Oh my!
Okay, besides the hitting my buttons with the hot swooning and kissing ladies; this is a strong enough beginning.
New Avengers #3
Yes? Man, this shit needs to move faster than that.
Avengers Assemble Annual
Solid story. I can't find myself completely sympathising with Vision though. From the little I know, he seems way to prone to self pity. Pietro was great tho.
Uncanny X-Men #1
... is actually a pretty weak issue. I think I'd still think that if I hadn't been spoiled the twist yesterday on tumblr (thank you tumblr -_-;) because it's hardly drawn in a way that would make it a big surprise to the attentive reader. So yeah, my point being: it's a very empty issue, with the most eventful thing in it being the twist (and there's obviously more to it than that anyway, so whatever). The rest is set up that, by now, has already been covered a lot in ANXM & Consequences and whatnot so it feels pretty boring by now. Also Bendis really can't write Magik anymore than he does Emma, and that's really irritating as well as the horrible new charadesigns (which are so far unexplained) and some pretty confusing panelling. Last year in W&tXM's opening arc, I really loved Bachalo's artstyle. It fitted the title's sense of whimsy, fun and youthful iconoclasm very well. In this story? Very bad fit. (Of course I ended up hating W&tXM after the opening arc, so hey, if that series reverses that, that'd be neat).
X-Men #31
A solid big fight issue with little else to cloture the X-Men Team up. Nothing much to say, but very efficient storytelling still.
Overall I think this series was pretty underrated. It did what a lot of people profess to want - fun self-contained stories about heroes doing heroic things with solid enough characterisation if not earth shattering development - pretty well (asides from Wood's arc) and was mostly hated for it. Heh.
Cable & X-Force #4
Weakest issue of the series so far yet. I'm starting to get tired of the time skipping storytelling.
Secret Avengers #1
Pretty in your face with how screwy the premise is, heh? Okay, I like this. Having Clint making fun of the bits taken from the movies -- while having a better sense of continuity than a lot of series -- Secret Warriors aknowledgemet & all
-- is apparently the way not make them annoying; and the storytelling is pretty solid. And I do like a well told twisty spy story.
Fantastic Four #4
Heh, mostly bored with this title.
Avengers Assemble #12
The writing is still solid and fun. Not sure what I think about the plot exactly, at least yet (Widow was a spy, no? Not an assassin?)
Thor #05
This is dragging and it's not like your villain is fascinating. Get on with it.
Captain Marvel #10
Well that went as well as can be expected.
Deadpool #5
*sighs* so much for that book.
UXM #2 was MUCH better, on pretty much all plans. Solid issue characterisation wise. Maybe Bendis can pull through.
Uncanny X-Force #2
Lots of fun action and fun banter but in the end mostly a transitional issue. They need to pick up the pacing, I think.
Uncanny Avengers #4
Meh. Continues to grate.
Young Avengers #2
I thought it was all great. Loki's the best, but Billy & Teddy had more pace to be themselves too.
Legacy #6: was pretty damn good.
Guardians of the Galaxy .1: Dunno how it compares to the original story, but this is well done. Solid origin story. Could pack more of a hook though.
Loved Cable& #5;. Transitional issue, but one filled with small delicious character touch.
A + X #5
The Loki & Sinister issue delightful of course.
Age of Ultron #1
It's, yeah, adequate. Could pack more of a punch, but definitely solid.
Uncanny X-Men #3
Another very good in an intense and exciting way issue.
Secret Avengers #2
Would that make more sense if I had read that stupid mini which introduced Coulson & Jr? Because holy shit, was that confused, and not in a good way. Yay for Tasky being around. Also Yelena. Not sure which version of Yelena this is going to be (hopefully the Grayson & Rucka one but).
Avengers Assemble #13
Pretty good overall but had some terrible pacing issues. I think it probably should have been longuer than two issues? Or shorter, idk.
Age of Ultron #2
Pacing like a snail. At some point you need more than Post Appo aesthetics to drive a story and you need some kind of plot.
Fearless Defenders #2
Transition issue, but I still loved it. Nice writing, Dani being badass, lesbian subtext&text everywhere. Oh yeaaah.
Thor #6
OMG that is so boring. Get on with it. This villain is boring. Boohoo my life sucks therefore I gonna kill all gods is the dullest thing ever. Bring back the sassy librarian.
X-Men Legacy #7
Love that book. Perfect issue. Hilarious and sweet and hilarious.
F4 #5
Reasonably fun. But yeah, this is still not really hitting the stop.
X-Men Legacy #8
I'm not quite sure I understood what happened at the end actually? Otherwise good issue, David & Ruth's date was cute.
Uncanny X-Force #3
That was fucking awesome. Great action scenes. Great Psylocke characterisation. Plot moving on in intriguing directions.
Young Avengers #3
So much fun with reaction face! Yeah, great issue, although the ending cliffhangers are starting to feel repetitive.
FF #5
It's still a good issue but I liked it less than usual. In great part because it trolled me hard
Uncanny Avengers #5
I liked it better than the previous arc, but I still have issues with it. Still much better character moments & interactions overall; especially from Rogue, Janet & Wanda (aka the people I'm reading this for).
OTO It had that "don't use the M word" speech from Alex and it makes me want to bash my head against a wall for the missing the point it does.
A + X #6
Both of those issues were SUCH A JOY. Absolute love. Just cute, character interactions and <3
Age of Ultron #3
OKay, we're starting to get somewhere plotwise. Good.
F4 AoU#5
Better than the other F4 isues, I think? Very okay issue. Also two Angel the Series references in one week? Isn't that a bit much XD
Guardians of the Galaxy #1
Fun enough so far.
Which brings my reading list to:

Uncanny Avengers
Looking forward to:
X-Men
Thanos Rising
Onward!
Very good.
| Loved the intro sequence with Kate and Noh-Varr, and the stuff with Loki and America. Felt the stuff with Teddy and Billy felt a bit overly stilted - heavy on the exposition and My-character-speak-my-character analysis though I may be biaised by having read too many Gillen interviews and too much discussions on the topic in general. SOFHEIUZFIUHFDIUSZED DONT KILL REBECCA KAPLAN WHOIS GOING TO BE MAKING DINNERS IN WHICH THE WHOLE MAGNUS FAMILY IS INVITED FOR MAXIMUM AWKWARDNESS AND HILARITY |

| I'd say "well, that was quick" about the ending, but I doubt it's anything that simple ^^ |
