All right, I finnally figured out how to use YouSendIt. I'm gonna start with Famous Blue Raincoat, the wonderful song by Leonard Cohen, and the live version sung by Tori Amos. Remember how I had an icon about it ? Now you'll know what I meant. Do listen to the lyrics.

Famous Blue Raincoat, Leonard Cohen version

Famous Blue Raincoat, Tori Amos live version

And a random french music : Les Mistral Gagnants, by Renaud which I adore. Very slow and bittersweet.

for [livejournal.com profile] busaikko Obsolete by McSolaar it's french hip hop i liked when I was 13 ^^

lol really ?

Yes, I kinda liked american hip hop for this reason, though it does get monotonous after a while. Listening to music when you don't understand/dont pay attention to the lyrics is definitly a different experience. I'm always surprised by how much most people do listen to them XD

Seriously. It was called Prose Combat, at least in its US release. MC Solaar is currently my favorite person from Senegal (which is not admittedly difficult).

Also, I really like the Tori cover; she's really good about making it her own, so it could almost be an original.

I kind of like Leopold Sedar Senghor better, but heh ^^

What's always funny about MC Solaar is how literary his lyrics actual are. Which makes sense, he's got a pretty BCBG background himself ^^
Prose Combat is the one with Obsolete, isn't it ? Also had Concubine de l'Hémoglobine and Nouveau Western (which got that background music sampled from Gainsbourg's Bonnie & Clyde)
