She sees a familiar face tricking idiots out of their gold with card games, Raynes his name is, but Raynes' too sly to have been caught cheating so there's no money on his head and she doesn't bother. She may be the Slayer but you don't expect her to do it for free, now, do you?
She finishes her drink and waits for the sun to set and here they come, right on time. Vampires, always predictable. Perhaps they didn't know she was there, or perhaps they did and wanted to challenge her. One kick to the table, and she's behind cover, shooting so quickly the gun hums under her hand, and ash dances inside the room as each silver bullet touch them. Now, that's life.
