Date: 23 October 2008 01:18 am (UTC)I adore Kendra! First because she's very very pretty :) Second, because I always like her type of character, quiet stoic warrior woman. I thought Kendra was interesting in general, the way she doesn't show her emotion, her perfectionism and drive to prove herself in her past, the way this is still there in the present, but with the ambivalence she has toward what happened during Caine's becoming more and more crazy - the way she neither can turn her back on Caine and the admiration she had for her, but the the way those events haunt her anyway. There's a lot of ambiguity about her character which I found great.
2) Is he/she important to the general plot?
No. She's important to give a face to Pegasus in that one episode, but she doesn't really matter to the greater scheme, except perhaps to contrast Kara.
3) Can you relate to this character at all? Do they grip you emotionally?
She grips me emotionally, I wouldn't say I can relate to her.
4) How much do you like the fandom that this character comes from?
The BSG fandom is fine, even though I don't really follow it actively, it's got lots of great, intelligent people who are also welcoming and funny. I love that it creates a lot of awesome fanvids too!
5) Do you ship this character with any other character? Or, are you particularly intrigued by their relationship with any other character(s)? (romance-wise or platonic)
Not really, no. That's one of the thing I don't like about her, she's too hard to ship ;_;

Have her in more than one episode, no matter how long.
7) If you were in the fandom with this character or knew this character in real life, how do you see yourself interacting with him/her? (Would you get along well? Fall in love with? Dislike? Friendly rivalry? etc etc)
Hmmm that's a difficult question. In terms of personnality, I think I would like her and even have a crush on her easily. In terms of who she is, though, I'm not sure how I could have related with her, or on what terms.

Not really.

No, because she doesn't matter to the overall plot.
