So in a discussion earlier I called 2009 a "she" without thinking about it. Which reminded me of I totally see numbers as having genders. Really. Like:

1 is male
2 is female
3 is male
4 is male
5 is male
6 is female
7 is female
8 is female
9 is female
(1)0 is male

I can also tell you that 1's just a baby and rather selfish, 2 is friendly and spiritual, 3 is grumpy, 4 is shy and looks up to 5 a lot, 5 is a bit of an ass hole, 6 is serious and a bit nerdy, 7 is sexual and hedonist, 8 is the mothering type, 9 is stern and authoritative and 10 is mysterious and alouf.

Where the fuck did I get those from??

I do the same thing, with the letters of the alphabet and with colors too.

Our genders for numbers are almost the same. XD;

Glad I'm not alone in my crazy. XD

For me, 4 is female and 7 is male. 9 and 10 are intersexed.

It means you have a great imagination. You could totally write a fic with numbers!

:O

I still remember the day in 7th grade Spanish class when the teacher was explaining that tables and chairs and staplers have gender. It was...very brain-breaking.

I have a friend who does the exact same thing. XD I think I could, given motivation, could do colors- but numbers always leave me hopelessly lost.

Colours are a bit boring because it's like... cold colours (green, blue, black, white) are male and warm colours (yellow, pink, orange, red & purple) are female.

Synesthesia! I don't assign genders or personalities to numbers, but I do have a number form.

Oooh, I didn't know gender counted as synaesthesia too. I don't even have strong colours association (for the vowels, yes, and some numbers but not very strongly).

The number form sounds pretty cool although I have a hard time conceiving how it works.
